1. Submit the Application File.

Personally submit the application file.  The application file must contain several documents. A detailed list of the documents required for applying at Cluj School of Public Health is provided below.

2. Submit a Cover letter and a CV.

The letter must be submitted in person, in any of the admission days. Applicants will have to bring a copy of their CV and cover letter at the interview.

3. Attend an Interview.

Admissions are based on an interview in English. Therefore, after submitting the application file, each candidate will receive the dates and time of the interview. All applicants will receive a grade for the motivational interview, which represents the admissions grade. At the interview, applicants will bring a copy of their CV and cover letter.

4. Distribution according to the Bachelor Degree grade.

In case of equal Motivational Interview grades, the distribution will be made according to the grade of the Bachelor Degree.

All applications to SPH must be made through the College of Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences, Babes-Bolyai University (71 Traian Moșoiu St., Cluj-Napoca), and therefore through the admission regulation required at faculty level.

Admission Documents

EU Citizens

  • Cover Letter and CV;

  • Application form (will be filled in when applying);

  • Receipt attesting the payment of the admission fee (it can also be paid at FSPAC during the admissions);

  • High school graduation diploma or its equivalent – a certified copy of the original document and a certified translation by a public notary (in Romanian, German, English or French, if the original is not issued in one of these languages).   • Bachelor diploma or its equivalent (in original);

  • Linguistic competence certificate with a minimum of 15 points (released by Alpha or Lingua Centers) or an internationally recognized certificate (minimum level: B2);

  • Identity card (copy);

  • Birth Certificate (copy);

  • Medical certificate, issued by the family physician, with the mention ”clinically healthy”;

  • Two passport-type photos;

  • Envelope file.

Non-EU Citizens

  • Application form in 2 copies;

  • Candidate’s contact data (correspondence address, phone number, e-mail address) and 2 recent photos + Accommodation form (optional) within the UBB dormitories;

  • High-school graduation diploma or its equivalent – certified copy in the original language and certified translation, at notary public (in Romanian, German, English or French, if the original is not issued in one of these languages);

  • Bachelor’s diploma or its equivalent – certified copy in the original language and certified translation, at notary public (in Romanian, German, English or French, if the original is not issued in one of these languages);

  • Transcripts of records pertaining to the studies – certified copy or certified translation at notary public (in Romanian, German, English or French, if the original is not issued in one of these languages) and the analytical curriculum in case of candidates that request equivalence for certain periods of studies;

  • Birth certificate – certified copy or certified translation at notary public (in Romanian, German, English or French, if the original is not issued in one of these languages);

  • Passport copy – valid for at least 6 months after the date of issue for the acceptance letter;

  • Medical certificate (in Romanian, German, English or French) attesting that the applicant does not suffer from any contagious diseases or any other affections incompatible with the future profession;

  • Certificate of linguistic competence. Exempted are the candidates coming from states whose official language is English;
