What determined you to want to work at Cluj School of Public Health?
Taking an internship at SPH seems a great opportunity for me to gain experience in the field of Public Health and to decide on the area/s of interest for my future. It is also a great way to meet people in my field and it gives me the chance to use the skills I learn in class in a real-world setting.
What Unit are you part of and what’s the coolest thing about it?
I am part of the Violence and Injury Prevention Unit and there are a lot of cool things about being an intern at this unit. What I like most is the friendly yet challenging working environment that allows me to develop my skills and to gain experience in a pleasant, non-boring way.
Who are your mentors and how would you describe your relationship with them?
My mentor is Andrada-Erika Baragan. She and all the other staff members are very supportive and communicative, which helps me engage more in the work I do.
What are your main tasks and responsibilities?
My main task involves contributing to the writing of an article related to child injury prevention. So far I’ve also had other different tasks, most of them related to injury prevention, and each one has brought progress in my working experience.
What are your future goals?
I’m not sure the exact path I want to follow in my future, but I want to continue working in the field of Public Health. I have yet to experience more areas in order to decide which would suit me best.
How do you feel SPH can help you reach them?
SPH offers me the chance to experience how a real-working environment is like, to prepare for my future, while developing skills and gaining experience in different areas of public health.
