Scientific symposium at the Medical School

The Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy has organized, on November 29th, the fourth ediction of DocMedForum, a scientific forum for doctoral candidates to present intermediary results of their work.


Cluj School of Public Health researchers Marius Ungureanu and Mara Timofe, from the department of Health Policy and Management, together with interns Simina Bîle, Alexandra Bocoș and Cezar Fătu have attended the event. Their papers, focusing on the quality of dental care services in Romania, have competed with other research papers in the Multidisciplinary Research section of the forum. Dr. Ungureanu’s paper reported on the factors which could motivate people to visit their dentist more frequently, whereas Ms. Timofe discussed on the importance of dentists’ feedback to their patients and its impact on the quality of dental care services.
