If you want to be a part of the C-SPH family all you have to do is to take a look at the admission procedures for international students which can be found on the Admission section.
Find out all you need to know about C-SPH admissions from The Insight – the official C-SPH admission magazine
All applications to SPH must be made through the Faculty of Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences, Babes-Bolyai University, 71 Traian Moșoiu St., Cluj-Napoca, and therefore through the admission regulation required at faculty level.
The first entry requirement you have to fulfill is to submit a motivational letter.
The letter must be submitted in person, in any of the admission days (15-21 July)
The letters will be afterwards evaluated and marked with accepted or denied
Only the candidates whose letters were accepted will further go in the forth stage of the admission process
Personally submit the application file
Applicants must prove their language proficiency in English during an interview.
Therefore, after submitting the application file, each candidate will be directed to the interview room. Only the candidates that passed the interview will further go in the forth stage of the admission process
Only candidates that have passed stage 1 and 3 of the admission application process will be distributed according to the following criteria:
In case of equal Baccalaureate averages, the distribution will be made according to:
the grade of the Baccalaureate maternal language exam
the highest grade of a Baccalaureate written exam (except the maternal language exam)
Special criteria of admission
Students with a baccalaureate diploma which obtained first, second or third prize at a national or international competition (in the last two years), recognized by the M.E.C.I, are automatically admitted to our faculty (on the places without tuition fee).
Tuition-free number of places: 15 ; Tuition places: 35 (national and international students)
If you have not been selected within the tuition-free places, you can enroll (in the limited number of places) as a self-sponsored student.
2015/2016 academic year tuition fees
The tuition can be paid in 4 rates, that means an amount of 875 RON twice a semester.
As an international student, your admission process will be a little bit different, with a few different steps to take. Whether you are a EU-citizen or a non-EU-citizen, you can find the entire application process below.
After you have fulfilled all the requirements asked by the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport and you have been accepted in the program, you will follow the same calendar and admission conditions as Romanian citizens (that means you will have to take the English proficiency interview organized by the faculty on each day of admission).
Be careful because even though you have been accepted in the program by the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport, you cannot begin courses without taking and passing the interview. The interview can be held only in July in the admission time frame.
