Medical Shadowing
Medical shadowing in a different medical system can represent an insightful and unique experience for pre-med or medical school students, but also for experienced health professionals. Through the Medical Shadowing program, we offer international students the opportunity to observe and communicate with health care professionals practicing and teaching in University Hospitals from Cluj-Napoca – one of the most performing and renowned Medical University Centers in Romania. We also offer shadowing in Community Hospitals from Cluj surrounding counties, such as Mures and Alba so as to include most of the interested students’ needs.
Currently, we can offer shadowing experience in the following medical and surgical specialties: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine and Orthopedics.
The shadowing program schedule and content are different in different medical and surgical specialties and are adaptable to the knowledge and experience levels of students and to their expressed needs and preferences. However, shadowing in other medical and surgical specialties could be further arranged, if there are interested applicants. The medical shadowing program is offered yearly in May, June and July.
