Dr. Tudor Lucian Pop is a Consultant in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology and Associate Professor at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iuliu Hatieganu Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from where he graduated in 1995. He obtained his PhD in autoimmunity associated with chronic viral hepatitis in children. He is the coordinator of the Center of Expertise in Pediatric Rare Liver Diseases from the Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children Cluj-Napoca, Romania. His interest is also in Social Pediatrics and Global Child Health. He is the President of the Romanian Society of Social Pediatrics and Councilor & Chairman of the Scientific Educational projects committee of European Pediatric Association (EPA-UNEPSA).
