International Collaboration to increase Traumatic Brain Injury Surveillance in Europe

INITIatE

The long term goal of this project is to assess and build TBI research capacity in Armenia, Georgia, and Moldova in order to systematically prevent, treat, and optimize recovery from TBI. To reach this goal, the objectives of the current project are to build a research network in which we will develop TBI registries.

  • Specific aim 1: Identify and describe current TBI data collection practices and capacity.
  • Specific aim 2: Through a participatory process, develop a comparable TBI registry system.
  • Specific aim 3: Conduct comparative analyses of TBI data.
