Life in Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Cluj-Napoca is the second largest city in Romania offering multiple opportunities for students to enjoy their student life such as many cultural and social events and activities. The city is full of energy and good vibes and, as a student, you won’t have time to get bored.

Transportation

Tuition-free students benefit of free subscription for two bus lines and students who pay for the tuition have a 50% discout on the bus subscription

Housing

Babes-Bolyai University offers accommodation in dorms in Hasdeu, Economica and Sport XXI campuses. The places are appointed to students based on their grades, upon request. The request should be submitted to the Permanent Admission Office when students confirm their places for BA or MA.

Students who want to rent a room or an apartment can find offers in Piata de la A la Z or OLX.

Apartment prices vary based on the location, facilities and period of the year (during autumn when the academic year starts, the prices are usually higher).
