Mihai Negrea is a healthcare management specialist with expertise in Romanian hospital organization. He holds a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tirgu Mureș with specialization in epidemiology, and two Master’s degrees in Healthcare Services Management and Advanced Medical and Pharmaceutical Research from the same university.

With seven years of consultancy experience in Romanian hospitals and the Ministry of Health, Mihai is passionate about policymaking, healthcare system reform, healthcare financing, and healthcare services management. His practical experience spans both clinical and administrative perspectives, providing him with comprehensive understanding of healthcare system challenges and opportunities.

Mihai is the author of “Public Hospital Management – Practical Guide,” a valuable resource for healthcare administrators in Romania. His work bridges academic knowledge and practical implementation, contributing to improved hospital management practices and healthcare system efficiency. As a Research Assistant in the Department of Public Health, he brings valuable expertise in healthcare management and policy to research projects and educational activities.
