Diana Dulf
Dr. Dulf is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Public Health, coordinating the work on injury and violence prevention in the department. She has coordinated several pilot grants funded under the NIH trauma training grant (3D43TW00062) and building a strong Romanian research team and sustainable research activities in trauma and injury prevention in Romania. She was a member of European Commission funded grants on tools to address childhood safety and joint actions for monitoring injuries in Europe. Dr. Dulf PhD work was on road traffic safety, with a focus on child safety restraints. The research developed as part of the PhD work set the groundwork for a multi-sectorial approach to increase child passenger safety in Cluj-Napoca, funded by the Fondation Botnar, having as partners NGOs, Cluj-Napoca City Hall, and Cluj County Police Inspectorate. Additionally, Dr. Dulf works in the field of prevention of gender-based violence, focusing on how to better identify and refer survivors of GBV to specialised care. She serves as a Director in the Board of Directors of The East European Institute for Reproductive Health (EEIRH) which promotes the right of women and men to sexual and reproductive health, to a life without gender-based violence and to healthy and dignified ageing. Additionally, Dr. Dulf is the Head and Project Manager for WP5 (Evaluation) for TACTICS Project – Improving the response and follow-up of victims and perpetrators of domestic violence by police authorities and project manager for Romania
